The reality show TALLAWAH JAMAICANS IN NYC takes us into the lives of a few hard-working and super-talented Jamaican folks living in NYC — going through the bustle and hustle of life and maintaining their sanity and composure after surviving the epicenter of COVID-19.
They deal with their family lives, world issues, and the aftermath of Jamaica being terribly destroyed by Hurricane Melissa. But using their faith and strong trust in Jesus Christ — and their solid foundation in His ways and total teachings — becomes their anchor for living and meeting challenges, while they share it with the world at large, all while living in NYC.
The word "Tallawah" is Jamaican patois meaning strong, brave, resilient — not to be underestimated. This spirit infuses every character and storyline.
